These two delightful gems from the Apostle Paul's pen are among his "pastoral letters." The shortest of his writings, Titus and Philemon are presented here in their entirety as two brief productions. Titus was instructed by Paul in the qualifications necessary for the selection of overseers in the church of God. He then directed Titus in how Christians should live their daily lives. Philemon was encouraged by Paul to welcome back a runaway slave who had been converted by Paul in prison. This short inspired letter eventually helped to bring an end to the practice of slavery in the modern world.
